I'm a little skittish, but once I get to know you I'm super sweet and snuggly, and my toothy smile will win your heart.
BREED: Great Dane/American Bulldog
COLOR: White w/ black markings
GENDER: Spayed Female
BIRTHDATE: July 2014
WEIGHT: 63 pounds
My siblings and I were dropped off at a crowded shelter in California, and then transferred to Colorado. We were sick and scared when we arrived. My mom thinks being put through all that stress made me as skittish as I am, but I do recover quickly. I'm really good at nose-work exercises, and I ride really well in the car. I love to just snuggle and watch TV, but I'm ready and eager to train or play whenever the opportunity arises.
I loved the other dogs in my house, but my resource guarding and anxiety have made it hard for us to get along now. The nice people at ABRT are helping me through all that.
I love love LOVE the baby in my current home, but have not been introduced to any other children.
I like hard rubber balls I can toss around, especially those that squeak, and I love those toys I need to work at to get all the yummy treats out.
I would love to live in a quiet home, where I can hang out and not be overwhelmed by too many visitors. I would do best if I was the only dog. I will need to be crated if left home alone for a bit since I do get restless when no-one else is around. But I love my crate so that's OK with me! And I will greet you with kisses and my toothy smile when I do see you again.
