I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rudy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rudy's Story...
Rudy was on the euthanasia list at a local shelter when one of our volunteers spotted him. There was no way she could let him remain on death row, so she sprung him from that awful place! Now Rudy is with us and looking for his forever home. He's a little shy considering all that he has been through in his first year of life but it doesn't take him long to warm up. He is full of that special puppy energy and would do well with both kids and other dogs. Please consider making this great guy a member of your family.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a Fort Atkinson Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
