Leonard's Story...
Estimated Birth Date: 11/2003

Leonard is one of our office cats, since he wasn't happy sharing a room with many cats. He got so stressed that he lost most of his hair, but he is once again beautiful now that he has room to hide when he wants to hide. He plays hard to get with new people so you’ll have to seek him out. The staff members that have gained his trust know him as an affectionate cat that wants to "help" with everything! Declawed in front, he was very happy in his former home until a child developed allergies. He loved to sit on that child’s lap, but didn’t like to be picked up. He also got along well with the other cat and the dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leonard, a Batavia Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Batavia, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Batavia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Batavia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Batavia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Batavia paves the way for another one to be saved.
