Hunter-URGENT's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Hunter-URGENT's Story...
Hunter is a purebred Brittany Spaniel. He is 8 yrs. old. We would love someone familiar with this breed to adopt this sweet boy! His elderly owner relinquished him because he could no longer care for him.

Dead Dogs Walking Tennessee, Inc. has pledged to help clear some of the beautiful dogs at a rural East Tennessee kill shelter . Not by euthanizing, but by adoption!

We want these dogs to be part of a family as an inside dog, not living on a chain or in a pen with a pack of other hunting dogs.

Please help us save a life! Adoption fees range from $200-250. The dog will be spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, heart worm tested , wormed and microchipped.
We work with several different transports that bring dogs to New England every weekend. That rate is $140.00.

Here is a link to their adoption application. ( required )

It will be transmitted to the shelter and the director will contact you ASAP.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter-URGENT, a Providence Brittany dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brittany for sale in Providence, or seeking a Brittany dog from a breeder in Providence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Providence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Providence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brittany breeders who help with Brittany rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Providence paves the way for another one to be saved.
