Rocket's Story...
Rocket is a Boston/Chihuahua mix born 5/29/2016. He has received age appropriate vaccines and has started on heartworm preventive. We are seeking a qualified home based on the following:
a fenced yard, the ability to provide mid-day potty breaks during the work schedule, no children under the age of 5. Also, we are seeking those that have an understanding of, and commitment to, all that is involved with raising a puppy.

Note about Rocket: Rocket experienced some delays in his development in the first few weeks of his life. In the last week or so, he had made great strides and is catching up developmentally to his litter-mates. Because Rocket is a little behind, we are reserving the right to withdraw him from consideration or delaying his adoption if we determine he needs more time with his foster family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocket, a Courtland Boston Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Courtland, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Courtland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Courtland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Courtland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Courtland paves the way for another one to be saved.
