Facts about Sarah

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Sarah is an adorable little stray teenage mom! She started showing up at my colony at OSH in San Leandro, and was clearly already quite pregnant! Too pregnant to abort! So, she had 4 little spitting images of herself two days after I brought her home. We tried hard with Blondie, the little runt, but she eventually succumbed to failure to thirve, despite our best efforts. So heartbreaking!!! That left Sarah her two other little girls, Kyra and Kyla, and her one boy, BamBam, so named because he's bigger than they are, seems strong, and is just full of exuberant energy!!! They are all so cute it almost hurts. Because of upper respiratory, which they have recovered from, others got to the vet for spay/neuter much sooner than they did. However, they are a little over 4 months old now, and will be fixed very soon, and up for adoption. Sarah, too, will be up for adoption. She's truly a sweetheart and gives little kisses, and loves her belly rubs! All are light brown tabbies, and all are absolutely adorable. When you think kittens, I hope you are thinking about getting two! They absolutely thrive given a buddy, and this is especially true when it's a sibling, and you don't have to go through the whole taming/desensitizing process!

About Feral Cat Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

The Feral Cat Foundation (FCF) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization whose primary mission is to help people live with the feral and forgotten cats and kittens in the communities of Alameda and Contra Costa counties of northern California. We accomplish this through the nationally-recognized and effective method of "TNR" (trap-neuter-return). When possible, tame cats and kittens are adopted to loving homes. Cats that cannot be socialized are returned to the location where they were trapped and fed daily by caring volunteers. The lack of resources and a sanctuary prevent FCF from being able to take owner surrenders, rescue cats from shelters, or remove cats from neighborhoods.
