My name is Honey & I am a 1.5 year old Shepherd/Collie mix. My foster-mom calls me 'Her Beautiful Girl' & I will settle for that.

I come from up North & I have had a rough past which has taught me many life lessons. I came under the care of BEDR in April this year, not much more than a pup myself, I was pregnant. I gave birth to 6 beautiful puppies & was thrilled to be a momma! I taught them every lif...e lesson I had learnt. I taught them to hunt, taught them manners, & made them all wonderful puppies. Now my little ones have left my nest to create wonders in other peoples lives. I am proud of them.

It is finally my turn to go to My Home & I am looking for My Parents. Let me paint a picture to help you understand me. I am a very well behaved lady with a huge heart filled with love to share. I am sure about myself & hence you can say I am a wee bit dominant, of course not in a bad way. I don’t understand felines or smaller animals, and I will stop there! I am kennel trained, potty trained, & I am wonderful on or off leash. I am up to date on all shots & hey, I am spayed as well! I am now used to living in a house & eating 2 proper meals, I like it! I LOVE little humans, big humans, & all dogs!

I am a great swimmer & I can swim non stop! If there was Olympics for animals, I am sure I would contribute a medal to our country.

If your heart & home is open for me – rescue me!!! I am a “TRUE rescue dog”. I will love you 1 Million times more every day & will shed kisses on you. I bet you can’t resist my breath! If you can’t adopt, don’t worry, share my story with your friends. Tell them all how wonderful I am now!

I look forward to meeting you with a big heart!

Sincerely,
Honey

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Regina Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Regina, or seeking a Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Regina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Regina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Regina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Regina paves the way for another one to be saved.
