I am already spayed, housetrained, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Kalea's Story...

Kalea come to us very scared of life. She was going to be euthanized but we were able to pull her. She is good with cats and dogs. She walks fairly well on the leash but it can be tricky putting in on/off her still. We are working on it. She doesnt like to be pet by strangers, but once she settles in she will come up for pets. She is independent and an easy dog to care for. She likes to be near you and her dogs friends.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kalea, a Saint Louis Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Saint Louis, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Saint Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saint Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saint Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saint Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
