To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Mozart, please visit our website below
Mozart was found living outside of a hospital, all on his own. He had no collar or microchip and when no one came for him we had to help. He's a very sweet boy who is decompressing right now, but we know he's dog friendly, loves people and has the most beautiful eyes on the block! He seems to be afraid of men, most likely because he was abused by a man in the past. We think he would do best in a home where women are present and if a man is part of the family, they are very patient and understanding of his past. He also seems to have a playful side and likes dogs of all sizes, but will do best if he's not placed with a very dominant dog since he is still a bit unsure of everything around him.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
