Hi, my name is Jax and I'm looking for my forever family. I'm a three-year-old, blue/white brindle, male American Staffordshire terrier and weigh approx. 68lbs. I've had a rough start in life. My owner abandoned me at his friend's house and I spent more than two years alone in a backyard without any socialization, training, or proper shelter. Luckily, someone reached out on my behalf and I have some new human friends who have been working with me on my manners, helping me gain confidence, and giving me lots of love and affection. I have made major improvements in a short period of time. I can still get really excited when I meet new people or see my human friends, so I need someone who will continue to work with me on my training and confidence. I walk great on the leash and even ignore barking dogs and cats while I'm exploring the city. And did I mention how handsome I am!?! I'm neutered and up-to-date on all my vaccinations.
