Baby Girl's Story...
"Are you looking for a sweet and loving little dog who'll be your devoted friend? I hope I'm that little girl you're looking for. My name is BABY GIRL, and I'm a nine-year-old Chihuahua with a beautiful soul. Don't let my age fool you, though. I still love to go for walks and race around the play yard here at the shelter. My goal in life, however, will be spending time with you, whether we go on walks or just hang out on the couch together. I'd be the perfect little house dog. I've already been house trained, and I can sit on command. I get along nicely with other dogs, and I'm currently sharing my kennel with a doggie friend. I know I'll be a cherished family pet, and I'd do best in a family where the kids are older and considerate of me. As a Super Senior, MY ADOPTION FEE IS JUST $30. That includes my microchip, current basic shots, and spay (I've already been spayed). Won't you please come visit me so we can get to know each other? We can spend some time out in the play yard here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. It's there, out in the play yard, that you'll see what a wonderful little dog I am. I hope to see you soon! Love, Baby Girl"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Girl, a El Cajon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
