ALEX's Story...
Hi my name is ALEX and I'm about a yr old. I'm neutered, current on my shots, micro chipped and ready to go. I'm very sweet and a little shy with new people but, I warm up quickly and can be very playful. I would do best in a home that has other female dogs to play with. I'm good with kids but would prefer kids over 5 yrs because I'm such a big boy. I'm a blank slate and ready to learn so I can live a better life. No one has done anything with me, but I love going for walks and I'm a smart guy and will learn quickly. I ride nicely in a car and was a super good boy for the veterinarian. I'd make a lovely family dog and am looking forward to having someone to love that I can love back.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ALEX, a Granite Bay Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Granite Bay, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Granite Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Granite Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Granite Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Granite Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
