Audrey's Story...
Audrey is a sweet, affectionate little lady kitten who was brought into animal control when she was not even two weeks old. She was found alone with her littermate, and because she was so young - she had to go into foster care immediately. The Philly Kitty came to the rescue and placed her in a foster home. There, she was bottle fed around the clock and grew into the amazing kitten she is today! Audrey was an independent, snuggly kitten from the get-go. She loves to play with her little brother, but she is just as happy occupying herself with a crinkle ball. She can be super snuggly if and when you need it, but she's also content to curl up in her favorite kitty bed for a snooze. Audrey was raised in a foster home with two young children, two dogs and various other cats and kittens, and she loved all of them. Audrey is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and treated for fleas. She is available for adoption through The Philly Kitty. You can fill out an adoption application at http://www.thephillykitty.org/adoption-application.html. Screening and adoption fee applies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Audrey, a Cheltenham Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cheltenham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Cheltenham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cheltenham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cheltenham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cheltenham paves the way for another one to be saved.
