Georgia's Story...
Georgia is a beautiful cat, 2 years old and spayed. We think she is an Abyssinian mix because of her slender features and ticked coat. She is very sweet and affectionate, loves people and seems to get along well with other cats. Georgia's person had too many cats so she had to come to the shelter with several relatives and friends. She's now ready to go home with you and live furrever!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgia, a Reeds Spring Abyssinian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Reeds Spring, or seeking a Abyssinian cat from a breeder in Reeds Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reeds Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reeds Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reeds Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
