My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Jo. I am a cute-as-a-button, spayed female kitten who was born April 16, 2016. I love to play with other kitties and hope to find a home where I'm not the only feline. I just love companionship. I like to be held and petted. When I'm not cuddling, I am playing. I love kitty toys and wrestling with kitties. We chase each other around, pouncing and tumbling about. I'm living with other cats of all ages and I get along with all of them. I really like the attention and affection, and always having a kitty to nap with or to play with. I'm even getting used to a big dog that lives here, but he still scares me sometimes. He's big and he moves fast. I use a litterbox like a good girl. I'm looking for a home of my own and I really hope to have another cat or two to play with and to be buddies with. There's a discount when you adopt more than one of us. That's a pretty good deal since we come fully vetted. Consider adopting two kitties together for double the fun! Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 60 days of free pet insurance.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
