Boo Boo's Story...
Booboo is a 6-mopnth-old, 40-lb shepherd mix with a lot of love to give. He's fostered with dogs and cats -- he loves all the dogs (large and small) that he's met and he's a polite housemate to the cats. The only thing he loves more than dogs is children -- he'll follow them around to lick them, love on them, and try to get them to play with him. He feels the same way about the larger human creatures he's met. His tail is long and has a mind of its own, often knocking things off of nearby flat surfaces. He has a spotted tongue and hugely expressive ears and he loves to play. He's doing well learning good potty rules, how to walk on a leash, and what it's like to be an inside dog. Stairs make him nervous and he isn't a fan of loud noises. He loves to carry around his toys, and he'll shred paper if he gets a chance to. (Who doesn't love to shred paper!)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boo Boo, a WESTMINSTER German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in WESTMINSTER, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in WESTMINSTER.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in WESTMINSTER already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a WESTMINSTER breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in WESTMINSTER paves the way for another one to be saved.
