Facts about Ramos

  • Breed: Chihuahua Mix
  • Color: Black
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 10413836

Ramos was found tied to the fence at Highland Avenue Animal Hospital on July 5, 2016, with wounds possibly from a fight and also could not walk.  By the time they contacted us and we were able to pick him up he was walking but very wobbly. We had originally adopted him out in 2011 as a puppy and have been unable to get in touch with the owners.  We have been told the wobbling could be an inner ear problem, a head injury or possibly he had been like this since birth. He has been treated with Clavamox to treat any ear infection and his walking has improved but stills wobbles a bit.  He also has heartworms and will need treatment.    He is due for a recheck on his ear and will begin treatment for the heartworms which will take about 4 months.  HE IS INCREDIBLY CUTE AND SWEET and deserves a loving home.

Unless otherwise noted, all dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped prior to adoption.  An application, home check and adoption fee of $175 are required prior to adoption.

You can meet some of our dogs at Petco in Evans, Ga most Saturdays from 12:00 to 3:00 . We only bring a few dogs with us each week so if you are interested in a particular dog, let us know so we can bring him/her with us.   To request an application send an email to
