Ozzie's Story...
Up for adoption: Ozzie. Ozzie can be adopted in Texas.

Ozzie is a labbie girl who's ready to find her forever home. We aren't sure how or why she ended up in a high kill shelter but when we saw her face we knew we had to give her a chance

Ozzie is about 7-8 years old and 61 lbs. We think she'd do well in a home that would be mellow and just let Ozzie be a chill dog that likes to hang out, eat treats and get lots of love.

She is spayed, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped. If you'd like to adopt Ozzie please apply at www.luckylabrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ozzie, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
