My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bright, curious, and playful, Scout is about one year old and weighs 11 pounds. He loves to play with other dogs, explore the great outdoors, go for car rides, and warmly meet every human he meets. Scout likes to play with his stuffed toys but does take delight in destroying them. He is a very playful puppy. His hair is soft and he does not shed. Scout would do best with an active family - no children under 7, as he is too rambunctious.

(An adoption donation of $300 is required.) If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email CHEW Dog Rescue at pawsontherun@gmail.com and ask for the adoption application form. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
