Maddie Mae's Story...
Hi! I’m Maddie Mae and I’m 5 years old. I am playful and am known as Miss Independent. I am very excitable and LOVE people. I am crate trained, do super at meal time and mostly house trained. I am blind but that does not stop me! I just need time to explore and map out my new surroundings (it may take a few bumps into the wall) and I’m good to go! Having other dogs around is helpful to because I can follow their lead. I do have a favor, if you let me sniff your hand before you pick me up it helps me to know what’s happening. And when I am in your lap I just need a few minutes to settle down for cuddle time. If you’re interested, I’d LOVE to meet ya! Just ask for me, Maddie Mae, on your application today at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie Mae, a Grapevine Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Grapevine, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Grapevine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grapevine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grapevine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grapevine paves the way for another one to be saved.
