Corky's Story...
Corky - 6 year old female purebred Miniature Schnauzer. Corky was rescued from an LA county shelter where she came in with 8 other dogs after being confiscated due to neglect. Most of the dogs were adopted but we rescued Corky and Russell. She was badly matted, her eyes were all gooped up due to untreated dry eye condition and her teeth were a mess. We suspected when we got her that she also had bladder stones and we were right!! So shortly after we rescued her she went to the vet and in addition to getting spayed, we had her bladder stones removed and a dental done in which 15 teeth were removed... she feel much better! She will need to remain on drops to keep her eyes clear, we also have her on Rx dogfood to prevent future stones from reoccurring other than that she's good to go! Corky is an affectionate and loving little girl who gets along great with other dogs. Corky has a natural tail and is a small girl at approximately 12 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Corky, a Redondo Beach Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Redondo Beach, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Redondo Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redondo Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redondo Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redondo Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
