Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mac (McCallister) was found as a stray by the humane society in another county. He had tags on so owner was traced. Only problem is his Mommy had passed away and the daughter didn't want him back. She released him to the shelter telling him that he seemed to be searching for her mother and that he would be better off with rescue. When found we were in the midst of a heat wave with temps topping 90 degrees day after day. We don't know how long he was out there, but we can tell you that the pads on three of his feet were burnt and missing from walking on the hot pavement. Since they could trace him back, they know that his age is 8 years old with nine around the corner. He is a sable merle, neutered male with one blue eye.
He ignores cats and seems to get along with other dogs. He is available on our senior for senior program.
