Scout's Story...
EST DOB: 10/8/15 No small children

Scout was rescued from a hoarding situtaion along with his siblings as a young pup. He has always been timid and shy. Once given time and a safe environment to get comfortable he is a really good dog. He really bonds well with other dogs so doggie friends are a must. He goes in and out of the doggie door and does well in the house. He just needs to be given a chance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout, a Flower Mound Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Flower Mound, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Flower Mound.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flower Mound already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flower Mound breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flower Mound paves the way for another one to be saved.
