Tiramisu's Story...
Meet Tiramisu who along with her siblings were rescued by a large gentle Irish Wolfhound who brought them one by one to her owner who then called us. We searched and waited but no mother cat ever showed up. The mother was probably hit by a car and the dog knew the babies were in trouble and needed help. .

Tiramisu (female) - Dark calico and tabby short hair mix – She is striking in her coloring and has ½ of her face orange tabby and ½ calico. Even her nose is ½ pink and ½ black. She purrs as soon as she makes eye contact. She likes to play peak-a-boo with her foster mom. She has a loud purr and uses it all the time. She does well with older children but would take a while to be comfortable around the high energy of a small child. She likes adult cats. She is a follower and not a leader so she would not do well as a single kitten. She needs another adult cat or kitten to follow.

Tiramisu is approximately 10-12 weeks old now and currently living at a foster home. She is litter box trained. She has been fixed, de-flead, de-wormed, tested negative for FELV/FIV and have had her first shots. She has been raised around adult cats.

If you would like to meet and/or adopt this cutie, please send us your contact info. There is a tax deductible donation which will go to the Forsaken Cats Rescue, a local 501c3 charity.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiramisu, a Pleasanton Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Pleasanton, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Pleasanton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pleasanton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pleasanton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pleasanton paves the way for another one to be saved.
