Pepper's Story...
Hi my name is Pepper! The first couple months of my life I lived outside in a huge colony of cats. Someone called St Francis and asked for help and now we've all been living inside getting to know the good life. Because I lived outside without human contact for awhile it takes me some time to get to know new people and trust them. I will need to be kept in one room the first week or two to be given time to learn that the new human (you) is nice just like my foster mama. But once you win my trust we will be inseparable. I'm a chatty little girl, I'm always yelling at my foster mama to come pet me or feed me. I will do best in a quieter home with no children so I don't get spooked. I am great with other kitties and love the kitties in my foster home, I follow their lead. hope you'll give me a chance to show you just what a sweetie I am! Love, Pepper

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Tampa Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
