Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi humans, my name is Pebbles. I am a 1 year old female Dachshund/Beagle mix, but more importantly I am adorable. I have lots of energy so I need lots of toys. I can keep myself occupied for hours. I am crate and potty trained and I even sit for my food and treats. I love to take walks and play with my foster brother, Duke. Car rides are also at the top of my list of favorites. I weigh 22 pounds and would do best in a home with a small to medium size, easy-going buddy to play with. I might bark at bigger dogs and I am not sure about cats. I love to snuggle and chill out a lot too! Pebbles is a very healthy, happy girl and would make a great companion. She is very alert and might be too barky for apartment living. She does bark when people come over, but warms up quickly. Pebbles was surrendered by her owner to a local shelter. She nips to get attention so we do not recommend her to families with children under 10.
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
