My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shasta is a 3 year old spayed collie mix. She is UTD on all vaccinations and flea medication. Shasta is HW negative and currently on HW preventative.

Shasta is house and crate trained. She does a good job walking on leash with occasionally a slight pull. She is very sweet and loves people. She does really well with cats.  Shasta is generally a very quiet dog with very little barking.

Shasta is a fence/gate climber and would need to be in a 6 ft fenced yard/gate.  However if someone was totally committed to walking her on a leash as needed that would be considered, too. She would do best in a house with no other dogs because she is not totally dog friendly all the time and has some occasional aggression issues with other dogs. She has been living for the past 2 months with 5 other dogs but there have been issues.

A home with no small children is needed as we are unsure of her personality around children.

Shasta would make a great companion dog as well as being with an active family.

Shasta is being fostered in West Virginia.
