HONEY's Story...
SAY HELLO TO THE FLIPPING FABULOUS HONEY GIRL!! Honey is an approximate 2-year-old female Shepherd mix with lots of energy and loves to play ball. She has a bobbed tail and who knows why. Maybe an accident when younger or a happy tail that kept breaking open or simply someone did for whatever reason only known to them. It does give her a compact look. Honey has reached her mature weight at 38 pounds, a weight that looks good on her. This sweet little lady didn’t get the name Honey for nothing. She will make someone a super forever friend. Been looking for you Best Friend Forever, Honey should be at top of the list. Write pawsnada@aol.com for an application. Call 580-332-5233 or visit the shelter after 10am, M-Sat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HONEY, a Ada Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Ada, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Ada.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ada already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ada breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ada paves the way for another one to be saved.
