Ronan's Story...

I don't know why my family left me at the pound when they moved. Wasn't their new home my new home also? The pound was so scary that I became very closed emotionally. I did not look or interact with anyone because my future was pretty depressing. Now, I am with Forte Animal Rescue and they believe that I deserve a second chance, so I think I need to be braver. I admit I am starting to enjoy the walks with volunteers because I realize they are all very kind and gentle. I am quite timid, skittish, and quiet, but I am very sweet and starting to wag my tail because life seems a bit brighter now. I’m waiting to find some loving people who will never move away without me and see me as their special little boy.

If you are interested in meeting Ronan, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Ronan is 1 year old and weighs 21 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ronan, a Marina del Rey Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
