DAISY's Story...
HI EVERYONE…MY NAME IS DAISY! Daisy is a pretty ordinary but pretty name, I don’t think I am an ordinary girl, but I do think I am pretty. I am a beagle mix of the extra-friendly type and have never met a person I didn’t like. I am only about 1 year old and weigh a nice 30 pounds. I do watch my girlie figure. I wish I could tell you my history and how I ended up here at the shelter, but no one understands me. I have lived my 1 year of life for my people, loving them every day and still here I am. They treat me nice here, but no one has the extra time to give me the attention and love I so crave and need. I do hope someone special will see my picture and plea for a second chance for love. I promise to be a really good girl. Write pawsnada@aol.com for an application. Come visit me at the shelter after 10 am. Ask for the pretty and friendly Daisy. You won’t be sorry. You can call the shelter after 10am too at 580-332-5233.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DAISY, a Ada Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Ada, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Ada.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ada already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ada breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ada paves the way for another one to be saved.
