JAXSON's Story...
HELLO EVERYONE!!! MY NAME IS JAXSON. They say I am a four month old Heeler Mix, whatever that is. I can’t really tell them about my Mom and Pop because they don’t understand puppy speak. I know I don’t have a Mommy anymore and I can’t tell them why I got abandoned/dumped or the 2 legs that did it to me. The nice people here tell me that I am a very handsome boy and they are sure I will have a really good new life with a wonderful family that will take care of me forever. Can you be my new family? Please…..write these people at pawsnada@aol.com for an application. Come on out to the shelter or call about me after 10am at 580-332-5233. I would love to cuddle and play with you and be your sweetheart. I know you will want to take me home with you. Ps… I really like to play, I get so excited. Hurry, hurry, hurry….I need you. Jaxson

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JAXSON, a Ada Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Ada, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Ada.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ada already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ada breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ada paves the way for another one to be saved.
