Where do we begin with Daisy? We spotted Daisy roaming in an alley in extreme heat. We could not have caught her without the help of a nice man and his two boys. They told us that she had been roaming for a few weeks, settling on their porch with the feral cats at night time. Surely someone was missing this sweet girl? During our search for her prior home, we learned from the folks in the area that she had been roaming for months, at times playing with the kids, but no one took her in as their own. Daisy has some timidness and insecurities from life on the streets. There are certain things that make her coward and shake. But most of the time, she is a love. She is great on the gentle leader and loves to go on walks. If you sit down on the ground, she sits on your lap!! Warning: if you do not like doggie kisses, this girl might not be a good fit. She is a kissy monster! In a nutshell, Daisy is as sweet as they come. We really have no idea of her breed - she is a mutt! The vet has her as a boxer mix but we do not think so. She has kind of a mushy face and the most beautiful coloring. We are still learning more about her and we feel she would be best as an only dog initially. Daisy would love to have kids in her life and people around her as much as possible. We have been told she was fine with the cats on the porch while on the streets. Daisy is slight, perhaps 40lbs. If you are interested in giving her a loving home ($200 adoption donation), please take a moment and fill out our application,http://www.povertyspets.org/#!adoption-form/rhx4r and we will get back to you upon receipt:
