My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh Clark.... you come such a long way since our paths crossed. On a brutally hot day it came to our attention that a dog was laying up against our block wall capturing the very little shade that was quickly disappearing. We gave Clark some water but he would limp off when we attempted to catch him. The good news is, we opened up our gate and over time, he limped his tick filled, dehydrated body onto our property. Perhaps the most frustrating time was the few weeks he occupied our front yard and would not allow us to touch him. His body was bubbling with ticks, he was filthy and we so wanted to help. It was such a relief when he slowly allowed us to pet him and to eventually clean his body of ticks and tend to his every need. We had some concern with Clark as he has a heart murmur. However, under anesthesia while getting neutered, his monitor showed no signs of the murmur. Clark loves to go on walks and LOVES TO SWIM and is a hugger!! There is nothing dominant about Clark when he slowly climbs up and hugs your hip and rests his head on her. He is adorable! Clark is just a youngster, probably not even a year, he has so much to look forward to. He has the most beautiful eye contact and such a cute under-bite! Clark needs to go to a home that will understand that he still needs to take things slow and be patient with him. He sometimes shows a bit of timidness but once he gets to know you, he is so incredibly loving. If you are interested in giving Clark the home he so deserves ($200 adoption donation), please take a moment to fill out an application. Applications are a requirement. Once received, we will contact you. Thank you so much: http://www.povertyspets.org/#!adoption-form/rhx4r
