Romeo's Story...
Romeo, oh Romeo! This poor little boy was in meltdown mode at the shelter, trembling with fear. This little chihuahua is timid, reserved and acts nervous. He will need a very gentle, patient and mature human to love him and help him trust again.
He gets along well with other dogs. He likes to bark and chase cats with his foster brother, so a house without cats might be ideal. He is not house broken and has been making several daily accidents inside. That might be due to his age or because he just came out of the shelter. He is listed as 12 years old. He was a stray so no background info available. He did get a complimentary dental cleaning thanks to the shelter so he is sporting pearly whites.
Romeo is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and micro-chipped. If you would like Romeo to join your family, please email

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Las Vegas Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
