Facts about Ted

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Ted is a playful kitten with beautiful tabby stripes. He loves to have his back scratched and a good body rub gets him purring. He will even ask for attention by looking at you with his big golden eyes and a gentle head butt to your hand. He likes to sit on the top of the cat tree and give wet nose “kisses” to show you how happy he is. He adores his sisters (Teva and Tammy) but can entertain himself with a favorite toy mouse or jingle ball. He is not one to turn down a treat and will come flying into the room when he hears the treat bag rattling . His gentle nature and purr-fect attitude make him a great addition to any home.

Ted is fostered in Belmont.

Young kittens do best in a home with another young feline companion so if you do not having an existing kitty, please consider adopting a pair of kittens. You will be happy you did!

If you would be interested in meeting me, please download an adoption application from our Adopt a Pet homepage and e-mail to adopt@homelesscatnetwork.org

Feel free to contact the Homeless Cat Network Hotline for more information or to schedule a time to meet this wonderful kitty! (phone) 650.286.9013

NOTE: This posting will be deleted when the kitten is no longer available. Due to limited volunteer resources, we are not able to respond to inquiries that are not accompanied by an application. Thank you!

About Homeless Cat Network

About Our Rescue Group...

Homeless Cat Network works hard to help cats and kittens in need on the San Francisco Peninsula. We provide advice, support and guidance to people who have found and wish to help community cats, and our volunteers do hands-on rescue work.

Our lifesaving initiatives focus on solving the root problem of cat homelessness and include: TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs for feral cats; kitten rescuing, fostering and adoption efforts; educational outreach; responsible community cat colony management; and mentoring people to help cats in need. We also have a unique Socialization Center, which gives abandoned, abused and neglected adult cats the chance to heal from their emotional and physical wounds and find the home of their dreams. All of our efforts work toward a single goal: to bring about a day when there are no more homeless cats, and with your help, we'll make that dream come true.
