My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carly has been living as a Sanctuary Dog here and Sponsors welcome to help the rescue feed and vet her. Even a bag of Purina Dog Chow is helpful.

Carly is a very sweet Housebroken Girl that loves to get hugs and kisses in the house where she will lay on a chair or bed and be very content and happy.

BUT her special needs are that she does not want to come up to you when she is outside usually. She will stand about 4 feet away and play a game of touch me if you can.  She was adopted out 4 years ago and the family opened the car door after they took off her leash and she ran into the woods behind them and would not come to them that very first day she went home with them!!! They were suppose to walk her for a few weeks, and they understood all about her game outside once she knew you and trusted you.  Carly never ran away, just stayed about 100 ft away from the house on their 20 acre property.  Needless to say the kids cried that they did not have a dog to play with in the house and walk on a leash, and I went back out there and put a tranquilizer in her food, while she was standing a few feet from me, playing her touch me if you can game, and waited until she ate, got sleepy, then carried her back to the van and brought her home.

She does not hurt a living creature, and has lived outside the yard here when she jumped the four foot fence and sat with the porch kitties, never running away.  She does stay in the yard now, her choosing, and comes right in the house when the door is open.  She is just what I call, a Free Spirit, happy sweet girl with a playful mind of her own.
