Born in March, 2016, Mickey and his brother Mortimer were brought to a HOPE adoption site when they were about 5 days old. They were so small we couldn’t tell for sure that they were kittens – they looked like little mice. This was the origin of their names. (Mortimer was Mickey Mouse’s first name at Disney.) The brothers were bottle-fed by their HOPE foster and are now in excellent health.
Mickey is high energy like all kittens and loves to play. He also loves getting attention, being petted and cuddling at night. He gets along very well with other cats of all ages. He doesn't know dogs but would be fine with one that wasn't aggressive. He has not been around children. He loves to sit with his Foster Mom and also wants to sleep with her.
If you are interested in Mickey and would like to fill out a Cat Adoption Application, please go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt him but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and a volunteer will get back to you.
Your message has been sent to HOPE (Homeless & Orphaned Pets Endeavor).
You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
