Sparkie is a handsome Blue Tick hound, born on September 30, 2010. Sparkie is very sweet, loyal, and protective of his loved ones. He weighs approximately 50 lbs., has been neutered, and is up to date on his shot. He is a bit shy when he first meets you, but warms up quickly. He must have a fenced yard with plenty of running room. He's never been an inside dog, but could be trained to stay in at night. The adoption fee is $125. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: http://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/DogAdoptionApplication.html. We are located in Western North Carolina. Optional transport is weekly. After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.
