He's very smart, and although he was living in a kennel until 3 weeks ago, he has learned very quickly to use the outdoor potty. He weighs about 51 lbs and is a powerful pup for his size.
He's also very good natured, affectionate and energetic. He already responds to his name and the commands, "sit" and "come". He's learned to be on a run. I am confident he will go a long way with training.
He is frightened of strangers in his home at first. He may lash out when approached by a stranger, until he becomes more confident and more comfortable with the person. He chases cats. He's very friendly with other dogs.
Training and positive reinforcement will boost his confidence a great deal. It already has.
