Harley's Story...
Beautiful Harley has an incredible temperament, very sweet, very laid back...just one kool dude! In spite of him being totally loaded with ticks and fleas, he just laid back and let our vet take good care of him and examine him. Never being unsettled or concerned even though he was obviously experiencing discomfort and pain. After three washes it was evident we had no choice but to give our fluffy boy a shave. The flea dirt all over him could NOT be washed out is was too thick.

Harley's skin was loaded with bites and sores. He's doing well now and his skin is healing nicely. Most marks gone and hair growing back. He's been neutered, brought current on all vaccines to include DHLPP, lyme vaccine, rabies vaccine, and bordetella. He is microchipped, is heart worm negative and so ready to find a home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Mount Holly Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Mount Holly, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Mount Holly.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Holly already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Holly breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Holly paves the way for another one to be saved.
