Gail's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

After being found in a hollowed tree stump, Gail and her siblings were brought to the shelter. Even though they were only two weeks old, it's always been easy to tell Gail apart from the rest. With the white stripe on her stomach and matching mark down her nose, little Gail is quite the looker. Gail is an adorable tuxedo with plush fur. She loves laying on her back; either when she is being held or when she's relaxing in a bed. Gail is very curious and loves to explore, but never shies away from people. Gail is energetic and playful; loving and affectionate. Gail's adoption fee is $85.00 with $25.00 returned once proof of her spay is received. Please email, DFriendsOfTheShelter@yahoo.com with any questions. If you would like to meet Gail please fill out an adoption application that can be found at: www.pawsforfriends.com. Thank you and we hope to hear from you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gail, a Cedar Rapids Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Cedar Rapids, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Cedar Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedar Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedar Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedar Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
