Boston Rob's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

You won't fine a more handsome dog that Boston Rob. This loving and laid back Boston Terrier/American Staff mix is just over a year old. Boston gets along great with other dogs and loves, loves, loves to play with toys. He is still learning what appropriate toys are, but listens and responds well. It may be best to crate him when alone for long periods, which he does without a fuss. He rides well in a car and has a lot of strength when on a leash. Boston is potty-trained and knows 'sit'. Boston can be playful but also very relaxed; he is eager to please and would do well in nearly any caring forever home. For questions about Boston Rob, please contact sonia@lasthoperescueia.org. You can complete the adoption application at www.lasthoperescueia.org/adopt. Indoor homes only. Adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boston Rob, a Cedar Rapids Boston Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Cedar Rapids, or seeking a Boston Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Cedar Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedar Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedar Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedar Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
