What can we say about this little Angel, just that she is, well, an Angel! She loves everyone, gets along well with the other dogs, cats, kids, people-- she has no issues at all! Angel loves to roll demurely on her back for a tummy scratch, but she can be sassy and chase the other dogs as well! Don’t count her out because of her age! (In the video, she is the darkest colored collie.) Angel walks nicely on a leash, and rides well in the car. If she is out in the yard when her foster mother's horses are chasing around she will run and bark at them, but who wouldn't?! Angel is a quiet little love in the house, never has accidents, is crate trained (she even puts herself to bed, as in the photo), and is just, well, perfect! She would be fine in a house as an only dog, or would do well with other dogs. Won’t you please find it in your heart to give her a chance? Angel is UTD on shots and neutered. She is available for adoption and her adoption fee is $175. If you are interested in Angel, please contact or call 319-530-9770.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Cedar Rapids Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Cedar Rapids, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in Cedar Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedar Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedar Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedar Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
