Zoey's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Zoey was found laying in a ditch on the side of the road. She was extremely emaciated and her poor tummy was very swollen. But her hard start in life has not hardened her at all! She is such a sweetheart. She instantly melts in your arms and purrs for hours. She quickly captured the heart of a neighbor who agreed to bring her into her home and foster her until she found her fur-ever home. Zoey is still very much a kitten (approximately 2 months old) and is very playful. She is the best of both worlds! She is a cuddle bug and then she can be energetic and goofy. Her fosters absolutely adore her! She has such a great personality and she is cute as a button. Anyone would be lucky to share their home with this adorable little fur-ball. Zoey is up-to-date on her shots and is in good overall health. Last Hope has a no-declaw policy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Cedar Rapids Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Cedar Rapids, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Cedar Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedar Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedar Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedar Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
