I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Duke's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Duke's Story...
Duke came to the shelter as a stray and we were happy to learn, that he was microchipped. We talked to his Owner once and learned that he "disappeared" from Oklahoma on 4th of July Weekend.
We made several more attempts to reach his owners again with no luck, so Duke now needs a new home!

Duke is a huge silly goofball that is not aware of his size. He is very friendly and pretty outgoing. He dosent seem to be interested in cats and appears to be friendly with other dogs.
Duke walks nicely on the leash ( as soonest he is out the building), he knows his name and is housetrained!

Duke's Adoption Fee is $82, which includes: Microchip, Vaccines ( Distemper & Rabies),Heartwormtest and deworming. If you're interested please call (785)239-6183! If no one answers then please leave a message! You can also contact us via email at nicole.p.storm@us.army.mil

Act quickly to adopt Duke. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Fort Riley Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Fort Riley, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Fort Riley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Riley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Riley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Riley paves the way for another one to be saved.
