Can you say Rollo? Rollo is a stunning seal mitted Ragdoll mix about 2 years old. He came in as a PIP. He was slightly sure when he first came in because he had been an outside cat. Well it was actually pretty smart cat because he told local TNR people that he did not want to be an outside cat by getting himself caught repeatedly.
Now, he is living a life of luxury. He started out unsure, but he is now sleeping in my bed, roaming the house comfortably. . He is still slightly shy when he initially meets you, but it only takes a few minutes and a little bit of back scratching to get him going. He would do better in a quieter home, but he gets along very well with other cats and would make a lovely companion for a cat as well as the humans in the home. Rollo has the most lovely personality and has quickly become a favorite around here. He also has the softest coat of any kind I have ever seen. Truly the ragdoll "rabbit fur" coat and such beautiful pointed markings. He has also recently learned how to play with a feather wand. Kitten policy does require that he does go home to or with another young cat to have as a companion and playmate

Adoption Fee: $150
Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.
Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
Kitten Policy: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
