Scooter Scooter Scooter.....he provides the comical relief in the rescue. This guy is quite the character. Scooter is a 8 year old black and tan dapple dachshund. Scooter weighs 15 pounds. Scooter came to us from the shelter where he had been turned in because he could not walk. He was on crate rest and steriods. He bounced back quickly. He is able to walk just fine and has a little sway to his step, but has no lasting problems. He loves to run and wrestle with his foster siblings. Scooter is good with kids, dogs his size and fine with cats. He loves to cuddle under the blankets and is most fond about sharing sweet kisses with his foster mom. Scooter needs a home with no stairs. Scooter is personality plus and will always have you laughing. Scooter is a good boy who is just full of himself.
Scooter's adoption fee: $200
We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.
Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day. If we all agree on the placement, then the dog will stay with you that day.
