Claire is a 10-12 year old chocolate and tan mini dachshund. She weighs about 9 pounds. Her tail never stops wagging and she is always happy. Her teeth were so bad when she came into the rescue that the infection was starting to eat through her jaw bone. The vet felt it best for Claire to remove the teeth she had. Now she is all better and it actually adds to her cuteness. She licks on the side of her mouth and she eats small bite kibble. This girl LOVES her food! Nothing stops her from eating her dinner. She loves sleeping in the big bed cuddled next to her person. Claire is looking for a home that will love her forever. Claire is sweet, gentle and affectionate. She is very king natured and is just looking for love in her senior years. Claire promises she will be great additions to your home.
Claire's adoption fee: $100
We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.
Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day. If we all agree on the placement, then the dog will stay with you that day.
