Chili Dog a 5 year old long hair, mini dachshund. Chili is a bit shy and reserved. He does need time to trust people. Once he is comfortable, he is a happy and bouncy little guy, who absolutely loves attention and to be petted. When Chili gets excited he will smile at you. He will jump all around to get your attention and loves to be held. Chili enjoys going on walks and is great in the car. He loves other dogs, is fine with cats, sorry NO kids. Chili does get scared easily and he is known to be a fear biter. Sudden movements do scare him. He is looking for a family that understands his fear and wants to work with him. He would do best in a home with another active doggie sibling and a quiet adult only home.
Chili Dog's adoption fee: $200
We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.
Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day. If we all agree on the placement, then the dog will stay with you that day.
