Rosie (Spayed)'s Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

Rosie (Spayed)'s Story...
"Rosie" is a majestic 1-1/2 year old female Mastiff who was surrendered by her owner on August 9, 2016. This gorgeous girl has a brindle short smooth coat, a long tail, and a classic Mastiff face with black shading and long floppy ears. "Rosie" is good with her people friends (including children), but she does NOT do well with cats or small dogs. She has been kept indoors and is housebroken. Her previous owner (who had not had her very long) told us that "Rosie" does not like loud noises, men in hats, and people pointing their fingers or raising their hands at her :( "Rosie" is a very large girl who weighs 160 lbs. She has already been spayed and is up-to-date on vaccinations. We'd suggest that potential adopters should be experienced with the Mastiff breed. "Rosie" bonded with our Humane Officer, Misty Carpenter. very quickly. If you would like to meet "Rosie", Misty would be happy to make the introduction.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie (Spayed), a Marietta Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Mastiff dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff breeders who help with Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
